The Opportunity

Are you a Quantity Surveyor or Project QS looking to build your career on a long-term infrastructure framework? We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor/Project Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well‑established infrastructure contractor delivering a Waste Water Capital Delivery framework across South Wales. Based in Cardiff, this role offers stability, long‑term secured work and the opportunity to develop within a high‑performing commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report into a Managing QS and Senior QS
  • Manage your own packages or smaller schemes within the framework
  • Support the commercial delivery of waste water capital projects
  • Gain strong exposure to NEC contracts (Options A & C)
  • Projects typically include treatment works upgrades, network improvements and associated civil engineering schemes delivered within a collaborative framework environment
  • Subcontract procurement and administration
  • Management of Compensation Events under NEC
  • Cost value reconciliation (CVR) and forecasting
  • Change control and risk management
  • Valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Supporting senior commercial staff with reporting and client liaison

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience as a QS or Project QS within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of NEC contracts

  • Ambition to progress to Senior QS
  • Framework or utilities experience is advantageous but not essential
