Role Type: Permanent

Salary: £36,443 + benefits & relocation support potential

Aircraft Mechanics required to provide support to the F-35 Fleet based at RAF Marham.

4 Day Week Mon - Thurs! Hours: 07.15 - 17.00.

Candidates would need to hold British nationality and have lived & worked in the UK for 5+ years and be eligible for SC security clearance.

What the role of the Aircraft Maintenance Technician entails:

  • You will be undertaking a range of maintenance on an aircraft which may include, as appropriate, aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the Approved Technical Information and relevant risk assessments and that all airworthiness records are maintained.
  • Make sure all activities are appropriately documented and identify and report any issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Complying with the Organisations MOE, its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standards.
  • You will understand and apply human factors, error management, within maintenance.
  • Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with the Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Management system.

What experience you need to be the successful Aircraft Maintenance Technician:

  • Experience of EASA/MRP Part 145.
  • Experience of working on military aircraft programmes.
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent military qualifications.
  • Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent e.g. City & Guilds 2675 or 2661.
