Family-friendly 8 days on / 6 days off roster – FIFO from Perth or DIDO from the Goldfields region. Support worker health across a long-life, 40+ year gold mining operation at St Ives.
The Opportunity: Reporting to the Occupational Hygienist, you will contribute to the effective delivery of occupational health and hygiene services across our St Ives operation. Up to six months’ free, company-provided accommodation may be available for eligible candidates from under-represented groups (for example, women in mining and Indigenous Australians) relocating to Kambalda for permanent roles. Accommodation includes basic furnishings and utilities and is subject to availability and housing policy, with support available to assist with transitioning to a lease after the initial six-month period. Eligibility and final terms will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Current Surface Ventilation Officer and Noise Officer qualifications and capabilities, or the ability to obtain qualifications in Occupational Hygiene, or currently working towards these qualifications, highly regarded
- Experience in occupational hygiene within a mining or resources environment is highly regarded
About the Role:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Occupational Hygiene program and champion worker health
- Maintain the site Health Management Plan and conduct Health Risk Assessments
- Assist with statutory responsibilities including Mine Air Quality Officer and Noise Officer
- Conduct occupational hygiene sampling, noise and ventilation surveys in accordance with Australian standards and legislative requirements
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance and calibration of occupational hygiene equipment
- Provide respiratory and hearing protection fit testing and advice
- Assist with the development and implementation of health monitoring programs
