The predicted salary is between 45900 - 56100 £ per year.

Permanent Residential & FIFO role on an 8/6 roster.

Two-tiered performance bonus & shares + private health allowance.

Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety or similar with relevant experience required.

The Opportunity: You’ll work closely with leaders and teams across the site to foster a strong safety culture where people feel supported, empowered, and confident to act safely. You’ll make a meaningful impact by influencing behaviours, building capability, and shaping an environment where everyone looks out for themselves and each other. You’ll have the opportunity to lead and grow by contributing, delivering, collaborating, innovating, and developing for our OHS Function at St Ives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support teams to embed safety values and behaviours across site.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to build confidence and capability in safety leadership.
  • Monitor, report, and analyse OHS performance, using insights to improve engagement and culture.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System.
  • Promote visible leadership and positive engagement with employees on OHS initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety or related field.
  • Manual Driver’s Licence.
  • Extensive experience in OHS leadership roles within mining, industrial, or heavy industry environments, preferably with underground mining.
  • Section 26 certification desirable.
  • ICAM Lead Investigator and Lead Auditor Qualification (highly desirable).
  • Strong people skills, with ability to influence, build relationships, and inspire teams.
