8/6 FIFO roster from Perth. 1 hour charter flight from Perth. Ideal role for an experienced underground Production Engineer.
The Opportunity:
You’ll work closely with a diverse and high-performing team for our Underground Mining Team at St Ives Gold Mine. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for drill and blast designs and short-term scheduling in line with short to medium term plans at the Hamlet operation, or other areas as required.

What You’ll Do:
- Play a role in guiding the mine to success by developing and implementing 2-weekly production plans that align the mine to its mid and long-term plan
- Contribute to continuous improvement through your analysis of stoping performance and optimization of dilution and recovery
- Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued
What You’ll Bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline, plus a manual driver’s licence
- Previous experience within underground hard rock engineering, with drill and blast design, preferably gold
- Demonstrated exposure to drill and blast design software is essential, preferably Deswik
