As a Senior Process Operator (2IC) at our St Ives mine site, you’ll be hands-on in day-to-day plant operations while providing vital support to the Process Shift Supervisor. It’s a great opportunity to build your leadership skills and make a real impact on production performance. This role is being offered on an 8:6/7:7 roster. You will be residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie. We provide transportation between Kalgoorlie and site.
What you will be doing:
- Support and provide coverage for the Shift Supervisor when required
- Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture and living our Vital Behaviours
- Operate and monitor plant equipment across all processing areas
- Coordinate daily work activities, including unplanned tasks, reports and checklists
- Liaise with Metallurgy and Maintenance teams to optimise performance and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate production data and shift reporting
- Identify improvement opportunities to boost efficiency and team capability

About you:
- Experienced Process Operator with a background in mineral processing
- Confident team leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring others
- Statutory 26 Supervisor Certificate would be advantageous
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving across plant operations
- Familiar with control room environments
- Strong communicator with solid computer skills (Word, Excel, databases)
- Holds a valid C Class Driver’s Licence
