8/6 Roster at St Ives, FIFO or live locally in Kalgoorlie area. Permanent role with a leading gold producer. Opportunity to lead and mentor a high-performing dewatering team.

The Opportunity: Reporting to the Dewatering Supervisor, in this role you will lead and provide support and guidance to the dewatering team as part of our Surface Mining team at our owner‑operated St Ives mine. Up to six months’ free, company‑provided accommodation may be available for eligible candidates from under‑represented groups (for example, women in mining and Indigenous Australians) relocating to Kambalda for permanent roles. Accommodation includes basic furnishings and utilities and is subject to availability and housing policy, with support available to assist with transitioning to a lease after the initial six‑month period. Eligibility and final terms will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current manual driver’s licence (HR desirable)
  • Current S26 Certification is essential
  • Experience in a similar surface mining role
  • Trade qualification, butt welding (PMBWELD301B) and Integrated Tool Handler experience – desirable.
  • Excavator experience – desirable

About the Role:

  • Lead daily dewatering activities, including the safe installation and movement of pipelines, pumps and associated equipment.
  • Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting to keep dewatering systems operating efficiently and support production needs.
  • Support and mentor the dewatering team while ensuring strong safety, environmental compliance and housekeeping standards.
