The Opportunity

  • 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, or live locally and be residential
  • One hour charter flight from Perth
  • Ideal role for an experienced open-pit Production Engineering with leadership experience

Reporting to the Superintendent: Mine Planning, you’ll deliver project planning, evaluation, and scheduling that drives our medium and long-term success for the operation.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure the business can make informed decisions by identifying, planning, and communicating extraction strategies, critical path, and high-risk areas as part of an iterative scenario planning process.
  • Create, support, and manage short to medium term mine design, scheduling and evaluation work, including design of all aspects of an open pit mine.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to add further value to the team
  • Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering
  • An unrestricted Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing/leading a team in a collaborative manner
  • Extensive open pit mining experience in production, projects, mine design, planning and scheduling.
