The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Leading Hand: Mechanical Light Vehicle, you will maintain, service and repair ancillary equipment as part of our Mobile Maintenance team (Light Vehicle) at St Ives Gold Mine. This residential opportunity is available to candidates residing in Kalgoorlie or Kambalda, working a 5/2 alternating 4/3 roster. Up to six months’ free, company-provided accommodation may be available for eligible candidates from under-represented groups (for example, women in mining and Indigenous Australians) relocating to Kambalda for permanent roles. Accommodation includes basic furnishings and utilities and is subject to availability and housing policy, with support available to assist with transitioning to a lease after the initial six-month period. Eligibility and final terms will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence
- Cert III Automotive Mechanical (Light Vehicle)
- Air‑Conditioning Licence and Forklift Ticket
- Experience maintaining light vehicles and ancillary equipment
- Experience in a mining/resources environment is ideal
- Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding capability

- Maintain and service ancillary equipment including Toyota light vehicles, ATV equipment, generators and trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs
- Complete maintenance documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and compliance standards
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support equipment reliability and availability
