The Opportunity
As part of the Gold Fields Graduate Program, you will complete rotations across four sites over a two-year period, including Agnew, Granny Smith, Gruyere, St Ives, and (where relevant) the Perth office. Throughout the program, you’ll work alongside members of our highly experienced technical team, gaining hands‑on exposure to the gold mining environment. You’ll develop and demonstrate a set of core competencies, ensuring well‑rounded capability across all key areas. This program offers genuine, real‑world mining experience and the opportunity to see how your foundational university studies translate into practice.

Skills & Qualifications
- Current manual driver’s licence.
- Completed your Tertiary Qualification in Community Development, Social Performance, Social Impact / Science, Indigenous Studies, Stakeholder Management (or similar) by end 2026.
- Vacation experience in a mining environment is ideal, but not essential.
About the Role
- Support the operational delivery of Gold Fields social performance strategy, including social investment, stakeholder engagement and host community participation programs and initiatives.
- Support the implementation and management of native title agreement commitments, including cultural heritage management, cultural learning and key relationship management activities and agreement compliance system requirements.
- Build and sustain trust‑based relationships with key community stakeholders, fostering meaningful partnerships and long‑term collaboration to deliver shared value for host communities.
