St Ives Gold Mine, 8/6 (days), 7/7 (nights) roster FIFO from Perth or live locally in Kalgoorlie or Kambalda. Drive essential dewatering activities that keep our open-cut mining operations productive.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Dewatering Supervisor, this role involves carrying out dewatering tasks as part of our surface mining team at our owner-operated St Ives mine. Up to six months’ free, company-provided accommodation may be available for eligible candidates from under-represented groups (for example, women in mining and Indigenous Australians) relocating to Kambalda for permanent roles. Accommodation includes basic furnishings and utilities and is subject to availability and housing policy, with support available to assist with transitioning to a lease after the initial six-month period. Eligibility and final terms will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Current HR driver’s licence
  • Certificate (PMBWELD301B) Butt welding of pipelines and piping components (desirable)
  • Integrated Tool Handler qualifications or relevant experience (desirable)
  • Dogging and/or Rigging Ticket (desirable)

About the Role

Install, move, and remove poly pipelines, diesel pumping systems, and associated plant to support open-cut mining dewatering operations. Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to meet maintenance targets and minimise downtime and production loss. Follow all task procedures, maintain high housekeeping standards, and contribute to a safe, compliant work environment.
