The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Business Improvement (BI) Advisor to play a key role in supporting the delivery of improvement programs and initiatives at our open pit mine. You’ll work closely with Line Managers and Change Leaders, embedding yourself as the BI Subject Matter Expert within the department, providing guidance and coaching to implement best practices, improve efficiency, and boost productivity. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll contribute to projects that drive meaningful change. This role is offered on 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth, residential for Kalgoorlie/Kambalda residents or DIDO from the Goldfields region.

What You’ll Do
- Implement the Management Operating System in collaboration with area leads and oversee its effective use and auditing.
- Co‑facilitate BI learning sessions, providing coaching to Change Leaders and their sponsors.
- Contribute to site‑wide Business Process Reviews and Business Planning activities.
- Drive projects from the improvement pipeline to deliver on Business Plan objectives.
- Lead and coach problem‑solving activities using a range of methodologies, including statistical process analysis and control.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in business, science, technical, or commercial disciplines
- Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) preferred
- Experience in a similar role within mining or heavy industry
- Strong ability to influence, lead improvement initiatives, and deliver training
- Lean Manufacturing or equivalent training desirable
- Valid manual driver’s licence
