Gold Education Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming secondary school in Southend, seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their Art department as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Art specialist to step into a supportive school environment and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to students across a range of abilities. The role is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if applicable)
- Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons in line with the curriculum
- Supporting students to develop skills across a range of media and techniques
- Assessing and providing constructive feedback on student work
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Art department
- Contributing positively to the wider school community
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
