Graduate Cover Supervisor – Harlow & Surrounding Areas (Flexible Supply Work) Gold Education Recruitment is currently working with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Harlow and the surrounding areas, seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Cover Supervisors for flexible day-to-day and short-term supply opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching. Whether you're considering a PGCE, School Direct, or teacher training in the future, this role provides an ideal stepping stone into education while offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. No formal teaching experience is required—just confidence, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young people. What You'll Be Doing: • Supervising classes across a range of subjects using pre-prepared lesson materials • Ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and on task throughout lessons • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies • Creating a positive and productive learning environment • Providing day-to-day and short-term cover across a variety of secondary schools • Building positive relationships with students and school staff • Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons where required • Gaining valuable classroom experience to support a future career in education What We're Looking For: • A degree in any subject (or currently completing your final year) • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Confidence working with groups of young people • A positive, professional, and adaptable attitude • Strong organisational skills and the ability to think on your feet • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential Why Choose Gold Education Recruitment?
