Gold Education Recruitment is delighted to be working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Bishop’s Stortford, currently seeking a creative and inspiring Film and Media Teacher to join their thriving department. This is a full-time position, with the opportunity for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach Film and Media Studies to engaged and motivated students. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a dynamic team, delivering innovative lessons that bring media theory and production to life.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver engaging and imaginative Film and Media lessons across KS4 and KS5
- Inspire students through both practical and theoretical approaches to the subject
- Plan, assess, and track progress in line with curriculum requirements
- Support students in developing creative projects and technical skills
- Contribute to the department’s enrichment activities and wider school life
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Film and/or Media Studies in UK secondary schools (KS4–KS5 experience desirable)
- A strong passion for creativity, storytelling, and digital media production
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities
- A commitment to innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional growth
