This is a full-time position, with the opportunity for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach Film and Media Studies to engaged and motivated students. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a dynamic team, delivering innovative lessons that bring media theory and production to life.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver engaging and imaginative Film and Media lessons across KS4 and KS5
  • Inspire students through both practical and theoretical approaches to the subject
  • Plan, assess, and track progress in line with curriculum requirements
  • Support students in developing creative projects and technical skills
  • Contribute to the department’s enrichment activities and wider school life

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Film and/or Media Studies in UK secondary schools (KS4–KS5 experience desirable)
  • A strong passion for creativity, storytelling, and digital media production
  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities
