Gold Education Recruitment is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Brentwood, Essex from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Year 5 Teacher, KS2 Teacher, or Primary Teacher, although applications from enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also welcomed. The school has a welcoming atmosphere, supportive leadership team and is committed to providing an engaging learning environment where both staff and pupils can thrive.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress to ensure excellent learning outcomes.
  • Prepare pupils for a successful transition into Year 6.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents and support staff.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for inspiring children to achieve their full potential.
  • A positive and proactive approach to teaching.
