Gold Education Recruitment is currently working with a supportive primary/secondary school in Chelmsford, seeking an experienced and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide full-time support for a student who requires additional assistance in the classroom. This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and patient individual who has experience supporting students with additional needs and is committed to helping them achieve their full potential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil within the classroom environment
- Assisting the student with learning activities set by the teacher
- Supporting the student’s academic progress, engagement, and confidence
- Implementing strategies to support behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Working closely with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to staff where required
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs
- Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students
