Golborne High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, suitably experienced and qualified person to join our pastoral team as a Family Support and Outreach Worker. The role strengthens relationships between home and school, removes barriers to learning, and ensures that children, young people and their families receive timely, coordinated support. The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, including English and Maths (GCSE grade C and above), good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience of small group work or one-to-one intervention with primary or secondary pupils is essential; understanding of relevant policies, codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation would be advantageous.
Employment details are as follows: start date September 2026, hours 25 hours per week, term time plus 1 week, salary G7 £32,597 - £36,363 pro rata (Actual £27,348 - £30,508).
