We’re seeking a creative, purpose-driven Social Content Creator to bring our mission to life: empowering kids and teens to be smart with money. In partnership with our Social Media Manager and Creative Studios team, you’ll create scroll-stopping content for Instagram, Youtube and TikTok that educates, entertains, and engages parents, turning complex financial topics into bite-sized, relatable stories.
From playful Reels to eye-catching static posts, you’ll create content that sparks curiosity, builds trust, and grows our community. You’re a natural storyteller with a strong sense of tone, a knack for video, shows confidence on camera, and has a finger on the pulse of what families are watching, sharing, and talking about.
Responsibilities:
- Create content planned by the Social Media Manager across our social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn) tailored to parents and kids
- Create and star in short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) that are playful and informative, turning bold, creative ideas into content that elevates the brand
- Translate financial concepts (like saving, earning, budgeting) into fun, age-appropriate content formats.
- Write engaging copy—from witty social captions to clear explainer-style scripts
- Collaborate with brand, design, and product teams to align content with campaigns, launches, and seasonal moments, alongside the Social Media Manager
- Spot trends early and help us show up with relevance and creativity—always in a way that’s right for our audience.
Who we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of experience creating content for a consumer brand—bonus if it’s in fintech, edtech, parenting, or youth culture.
- You’re comfortable on camera creating your own content, as well as briefing and directing creators to bring ideas to life.
- You’re confident in creating content for both parents and kids—and know how to tailor tone and visuals accordingly.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, with an eye for what works on each platform.
- Experience filming and editing short-form video (CapCut, Adobe Rush, or similar), and comfortable producing on your phone.
- A natural collaborator with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Passionate about financial literacy, education, and making money skills feel accessible and fun.
Bonus Experience:
- Experience in a fast-paced start-up/scale-up or small agency environment
- You are a parent and are comfortable with your kids appearing in content on our channels
