Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our team in the Joplin, Missouri area.

What We’re Looking For
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
- Active state medical license.
- 2–5 years of post‑residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
- Experience treating patients across all age groups.
- Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X‑rays.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers.
Your Role
- Independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including examining and treating patients with acute conditions.
- Take medical histories and order diagnostic tests.
- Make diagnoses and prescribe medications.
- Perform minor procedures and administer vaccinations.
- Document patient progress and coordinate follow‑up care.
- Supervise and collaborate with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support.
- Work 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused setting.
