The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as an advisor and trusted consultant to production site leaders, providing guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and HR policy interpretation. The HRBP collaborates closely with site leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, strengthen organizational culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal standards and policies. This role requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to influence outcomes across all levels of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership
    • Partner with production site leadership to understand business goals and develop people strategies that support organizational objectives.
    • Provide data‐driven insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent optimization.
    • Serve as a thought partner on change management initiatives, communication planning, and team effectiveness.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance
    • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employee relations matters, including investigations, coaching, conflict resolution, and corrective action.
    • Ensure consistent application of policies and adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.
    • Conduct thorough, timely investigations and provide recommendations that balance risk, fairness, and business needs.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and support legal compliance across all HR processes.
  • Performance Management & Talent Development
    • Guide production site leaders through performance management cycles, including goal setting, feedback, evaluations, and development planning.
    • Identify skill gaps and partner with the Senior Director of HR and site leadership to implement training solutions.
    • Support and lead leadership and staff development initiatives.
  • HR Operations & Program Support
    • Partner with members of the Human Resource Team to deliver seamless HR services.
    • Support and lead HR initiatives, working collaboratively with the Senior Director of Human Resources and members of the HR team.
    • Collaborate with the HR Team to ensure effective hiring strategies and positive candidate/employee experience.
    • Lead onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes for the location.
  • Culture & Engagement
    • Promote a positive, inclusive, and high‐performance culture.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives, action planning, and communication strategies.
    • Serve as a culture ambassador, modeling organizational values and fostering trust.
  • Data & Reporting
    • Use HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions.
    • Prepare reports and presentations as needed.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and business partnership responsibilities within production, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner and influence leaders and navigate complex situations with discretion.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‐solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and data analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM‐CP, SHRM‐SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Background in HR within healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industries.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work onsite as required.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasional travel may be required depending on business needs.

Work Schedule

  • This is a full‐time, exempt position, and the role which may require working additional hours beyond 40 per week as needed to meet business and operational demands.
  • Hybrid (Four Days On‐Site & One Day Remote after 6 months of employment).
