We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact projects from initiation through delivery. This role drives project success through strategic planning, stakeholder management, and team leadership, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery with comprehensive project plans including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders at all levels, facilitating clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability while mentoring junior project managers and team members.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.
- Establish and track key performance indicators, provide regular status updates and reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and return on investment, ensuring adherence to organizational standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 7+ years of project management experience delivering complex projects.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus; Agile/Scrum certification is strongly preferred.
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices; proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams of 10+ members; exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Proven experience managing project budgets of $1M+ and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the specific industry or domain; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience with change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
- Background in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies; experience managing vendor relationships and external partners is advantageous.
