We’re looking for a hands-on, commercially minded SEO Manager to join our Digital Marketing team on a 6-month contract and drive meaningful organic growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on high-impact technical SEO projects, enjoys rolling their sleeves up, and wants to make a measurable difference to an established e-commerce business.
Working closely with our Head of Digital Marketing, you’ll lead critical SEO initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and ensure our organic strategy delivers real revenue growth. You’ll be the SEO authority within the business, owning key initiatives that will shape the future of our organic performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading major technical and commercial SEO projects
- Managing the launch of a sister website
- Executing high-stakes URL and information architecture restructures (moving from flat to hierarchical structures)
- Overseeing our “Striking Distance” keyword programme, ensuring terms ranking positions 4–20 move into the Top 3
- Working closely with Development, Performance Marketing, UX & Design, and Editorial teams
- Identifying technical SEO issues and driving solutions through to implementation
- Monitoring and optimising rankings, page speed, redirects, CTR and other key SEO KPIs
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience with E-Commerce specific SEO
- Deep knowledge of current SEO practices including website architecture
- Sense of ownership and the ability to push projects forward internally
- Ability to keep on top of ever-changing SEO landscape
- Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. GA, GSC, SE Ranking etc)
- A strong work ethic and sense of timekeeping
- You’re someone who combines commercial thinking with technical curiosity;
- Analytical and data-driven
- Commercially minded with a focus on profitable growth
- Strong communicator who can work across multiple teams
- Self-motivated, energetic and ambitious
