As a Solutions Architect, you'll play an important role in shaping how we work: setting direction without overcomplicating things, supporting the team with care, and balancing technical curiosity with a down-to-earth mindset. This is an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend depending on business need.

What you'll do

  • Be responsible for strategic and architectural technical decisions with a particular focus on Financial Operational Systems (Finance, Supply Chain Procurements and Sales).
  • Define and evaluate architecture options for finance systems and integrations, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the definition of a cohesive and consistent data model that can serve as the bedrock of all our financial systems whilst maintaining a global view of the impact on other tech systems.
  • Assess existing systems & propose solutions to evolve finance technology to keep up with a rapidly growing scale up business.
  • Collaborate with internal & external development teams during the solution design phase to ensure that any technical solution is fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate closely with our TechOps and Security teams to ensure that the solution we choose fits within the organization, is scalable, supportable and secure.

What you'll need

  • Proven experience designing finance technology and integration architectures in fast-growing, agile organisations.
  • Strong experience with complex systems integration projects.
  • Experience delivering system migrations or transformations while maintaining business continuity.
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies and application architectures.
  • Understanding of modern integration patterns, REST APIs, modern application and data architecture.
  • Understanding at a protocol level of Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity provisioning technologies such as OAuth, OIDC, SAML and SCIM.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and present complex integration concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
