We're looking for an experienced and commercially aware analyst who combines strong forecasting expertise with the ability to lead projects and support others within a collaborative team environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex industry developments into robust forecasts and actionable insight while helping drive the evolution of our modelling capabilities and data products.

As a Senior Analyst, you will take ownership of forecasting activities across a defined set of markets, technologies or strategic topic areas, ensuring the delivery of accurate, commercially relevant and forward-looking industry forecasts. You'll combine quantitative modelling with qualitative market analysis to explain industry developments and support both internal and external stakeholders.

You'll lead smaller forecasting projects and workstreams, coordinating contributions from colleagues across data collection, research and modelling teams to deliver high-quality outputs. You'll also support the development of junior analysts through collaboration, guidance and knowledge sharing, helping maintain consistency and analytical rigour across the team.

Alongside core forecasting responsibilities, you'll contribute to research reports, thought leadership and strategic initiatives linked to emerging industry developments such as next-generation networks, AI-enabled services, financial performance trends and evolving business models. You'll engage with stakeholders and help communicate complex insights in a clear and commercially meaningful way.

Success in the role will come from your ability to balance technical modelling expertise with leadership, communication and project coordination skills. You'll be expected to establish ownership of key forecasting areas, improve existing modelling approaches, contribute to strategic projects and become a recognised subject matter expert within your specialist domain.

About You: You'll bring experience in forecasting, modelling, market analysis or related analytical work, alongside a strong understanding of the mobile, telecoms or technology sectors. You'll be comfortable working with large and complex datasets and able to combine quantitative analysis with commercial and strategic thinking.

You'll need strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to explain assumptions, challenge ideas constructively and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You'll also be confident coordinating smaller projects or workstreams and supporting colleagues within a collaborative team environment.

The role would suit someone who enjoys solving complex analytical problems, identifying opportunities to improve processes and helping shape the direction of future forecasting activities. Strong Excel and data analysis skills are essential, while experience with forecasting methodologies, financial analysis, telecoms datasets or statistical modelling tools would be highly beneficial.

What We Offer: Working at the GSMA offers you unparalleled access to the mobile industry. We offer a chance to truly shape the direction of mobile, whatever your role. By joining the GSMA, you will be exposed to a fast-paced rapidly evolving environment, working on global solutions, genuinely fascinating and industry-changing projects and a stimulating and dynamic environment designed to enable you to flourish.
