About the role

We're building something brand new, and we're looking for a product marketer who knows how to take a product from concept to market. This is a zero-to-one product marketing role within a small, founder-led product team. You'll validate the audience, shape the narrative, and lead go-to-market end-to-end—bridging the gap between what we're building and the people we're building it for.

As a team that thrives on in-person collaboration, this role is based full-time at our London office.

This is the role for you if you're excited to work on:

  • Insights & validation: Build a clear understanding of who our users are and why they care. Run a focused research agenda (user interviews, competitive mapping, and message testing) and translate insights into product and marketing direction.
  • Positioning & narrative: Define and evolve positioning and messaging, partnering closely with the Founder and Head of Marketing to articulate differentiation and tell a compelling story.
  • GTM strategy & execution: Lead go-to-market from strategy through launch planning and cross-functional coordination with the wider marketing team—ensuring we ship with clarity, focus, and momentum.
  • Building in public: Strengthen our credibility through thought leadership and community engagement, and turn external feedback into sharper positioning and better product decisions.
  • Marketing an AI-native product: Help shape how we communicate trust, transparency, and user education for a product that evolves quickly, where responsible AI is part of the story—not a footnote.

The skills you will need to be successful:

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, with meaningful exposure to early-stage and/or zero-to-one work.
  • Strong experience in a PLG environment, with a clear understanding of how product-led growth drives acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Comfort operating end-to-end, from research and insights to messaging, launch planning, and execution.
  • An independent, execution-focused working style - you thrive with ambiguity and move quickly while staying organized.
  • Curiosity about AI and how it can improve your work; you actively experiment with tools, workflows, and automation to operate smarter.

The interview process:

  • Talent Intro Call: A conversation with our Talent Acquisition team to dive into your experience, what motivates you, and why you're interested in joining Goodnotes.
  • Hiring Manager Interview: A deeper dive into your background, your preferred ways of working, and the impact you'll have in the team.
  • Founder Interview: A call with Steven, our CEO and Founder to discuss your experience, AI capabilities and discuss the challenges of the role.
  • Role-Specific Assessment: A live session focused on the core product marketing skills required for the role and how you approach real-world challenges.
  • Values & Panel Interview: A conversation with 2–3 team members centered on our company values and how you collaborate.

What's in it for you:

  • Customized Growth & Wellness Budgets: We provide dedicated stipends for the things that keep you at your best, including noise-canceling headphones for deep focus, professional training, personal development, and health and wellness activities.
  • Global Connectivity: While we embrace flexible work, we love seeing each other. We provide sponsored visits to our beautiful office locations to foster face-to-face collaboration.
  • Company-Wide Offsites: Once a year, we gather the entire global team in person to celebrate our wins, align on our vision, and build lasting connections.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Your well-being is our priority. We offer premium medical insurance for you and your dependents to ensure peace of mind for your whole family.
