This is a 6-month fixed term contract focused on three key areas of initial build and set-up work: establishing robust reward processes, delivering people analytics dashboards, and supporting the implementation of a new AI-powered HR system. The role is designed to create lasting foundations that can be maintained by the wider People team once complete.
Key Responsibilities
- Project 1: Reward Processes & Pay Review
- Salary Banding Review: Design and document an annual salary banding review process, conduct external benchmarking, produce recommendations for senior stakeholders, and create templates to make the process repeatable in future years.
- Annual Pay Review (October 2026): Support the end-to-end pay review cycle, prepare budget modelling and scenario planning, coordinate across People and Finance teams, and produce communications and manager guidance for rollout.
- Benefits Renewal Preparation (December 2026): Review the current benefits package against market benchmarks and employee feedback, manage broker relationships, and provide recommendations ahead of the December renewal window.
- Gender Pay Gap Reporting: Complete gender pay gap analysis and reporting, including narrative commentary for publication, with actionable recommendations to support reduction over time.
- Project 2: People Analytics Dashboards
- Dashboard Design & Build: Work with the internal data team to scope and build priority dashboards in Microsoft Power BI (e.g. headcount, attrition, recruitment pipeline, DEI metrics, engagement), designed for ease of maintenance by the existing team.
- Reporting Standardisation: Standardise regular People & Talent KPI reports, integrate engagement survey data into the dashboard suite, and provide training and documentation so the team can maintain everything post-contract.
- Project 3: HR System Implementation (Harriet HR)
- System Implementation Support: Contribute to scoping and planning the rollout of Harriet HR, Accurx's new AI-powered HR system, supporting integration with existing systems and embedding data integrity and GDPR compliance throughout.
- Automated Workflows: Identify, scope, implement and test automation opportunities connected to Harriet HR (e.g. onboarding, contract generation, leaver processes), and create user guides to support adoption.
- Systems Optimisation: Ensure Harriet HR is configured to deliver a great employee experience, with all people data managed in accordance with GDPR and clear documentation for ongoing maintenance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong data analysis, reporting and visualisation skills — ideally with hands-on Microsoft Power BI experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and comfortable managing large volumes of raw data
- Experience working with HR/People systems, ideally including involvement in a system implementation
- Experience supporting a pay review cycle and/or reward benchmarking process
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work to tight deadlines
- Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Comfortable working with GDPR and data privacy requirements in a People context
Work Arrangement
- Office Location: London (Shoreditch) - office first culture, 3 days per week in office with core hours 10am–4pm
- Flexibility: Up to 4 weeks to work from anywhere per year
