Main Responsibilities

This role is primarily responsible for UBP UK's Talent Acquisition, learning and development, training.

Role Duties

  • Recruitment Lead
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to attract top-tier talent.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Selection: Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of roles across UBP UK, ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience.
  • Recruitment Partnerships: Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, including maintaining and optimising the preferred supplier list, negotiating terms, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Collaboration with HR Business Partners: Work closely with HRBPs to understand workforce planning needs, provide market insights, and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Benchmarking & Market Analysis: Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and benefits for open positions.
  • Recruitment Tools & Systems: Utilise our new tool Oracle HCM to post job openings, manage candidate pipelines, and track recruitment metrics. Delegate tasks to the HR Administrative team as appropriate.
  • Graduate Programme: Lead and oversee UBP UK's graduate programme, working closely with colleagues in Genova.
  • Learning & Development
  • Learning Strategy: Design and implement a learning and development strategy that aligns with UBP UK's business objectives and promotes a culture of continuous learning.
  • Training Needs: Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to identify skill gaps and training needs.
  • Training: Develop, source, and implement training programmes, workshops, and e-learning solutions to address identified needs, collaborating with Geneva L&D team where training is organised centrally.
  • Mandatory training: Work with Compliance, Risk and other teams to issue mandatory training for staff on a biannual basis, reviewing training from our system LRN and working with them to amend where appropriate.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage external training providers.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate and deliver, or support the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and leadership development programmes as needed.
  • Evaluation & Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and use insights to continuously improve programmes. Monitor training hours, study leave, and completion records of mandatory training.
