This is a compelling opportunity to join Sedgwick’s global Talent Acquisition team on a 6‑month interim contract, where your work directly shapes the future of the company. You’ll lead end‑to‑end hiring activity across the Netherlands and Belgium, with potential to extend responsibility to Germany subject to language capability. You’ll join a diverse, inclusive, and supportive global TA function driven by a single aim: make hiring at Sedgwick world‑class. You’ll act as a strategic partner to the business—building strong relationships with senior leaders, crafting data‑driven insights, and delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. We’ll match your impact with tailored onboarding and development support throughout your assignment.
What you’ll do:
- Be a trusted advisor to hiring teams, senior management, and departmental heads, influencing decisions with insight and expertise.
- Own the full TA lifecycle: briefing, sourcing, screening/interviewing, feedback, and offer management—adding value throughout.
- Build strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, employer branding, social channels, referrals and internal mobility.
- Transform data into action: partner with the Head of TA to create insights that shape TA strategy and priorities.
- Champion internal mobility and support Sedgwick’s commitment to developing colleagues.
- Lead TA initiatives including referral programmes and other hiring projects across the region.
- Collaborate across CR and business leadership to shape recruitment approaches aligned to country and functional strategy.
- Support DE&I goals by ensuring diverse and balanced shortlists.
- Deliver a first‑class experience for candidates and hiring managers, balancing quality, pace and stakeholder care.
- Other duties: As required by the senior management team. These are integral to the role and carry equal accountability.
What you’ll bring:
- Significant full‑cycle TA experience in global, fast‑paced environments.
- Multilingual capability: English & Dutch essential; German a strong advantage.
- Advanced sourcing capability across multiple digital and market‑specific tools.
- Strong interviewing, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven experience in using data and metrics to guide decision‑making.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and requisitions confidently.
- Comfort working in transformation‑led and ambiguous environments with a proactive mindset.
- Strong collaboration skills across teams, including hiring managers and CR Business Partners.
- Workday experience highly desirable.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong PC skills including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and online research tools.
