About the Role
Role Purpose: To assist in all global reporting and tax compliance and provide support to the wider finance team where required.
The ideal candidate will perform well under pressure and will have the ability to motivate and empower others to reach organisational goals. The role will be challenging but highly rewarding.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of UK & foreign entity statutory accounts
- Aid in the production of UK & foreign entity tax returns
- Assist with international payroll and benefits reporting as required
- Assist with international sales tax reporting as required
- Aid with completing and submitting various statistical reports such as ONS reports in a timely manner
- Support month-end close for non-trading entities
- Assist with global R&D tax claims
- Assist with Group audit
- Help with ad hoc projects
About You
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified or part qualified with:
- A minimum of 5 years industry experience working in practice or within a busy finance team for a global company
- Knowledge and experience of all parts of a modern finance team
- Hands on experience with a US entity and in particular US tax is highly desirable
- Consolidation experience is also desirable
- A good understanding of IFRS and UK tax
- Comfortable in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment
- Must have strong communication skills and digital literacy, and experience working hybrid/remote within a team
- Experience (desirable) with the following systems:
- Sage (other systems will be considered if candidate can demonstrate a good understanding of accounting packages)
- HubSpot
- Excel
- The candidate must have a good understanding of SME organisations and particularly the direct impact their work has on the entire organisation
- Will need to be confident, motivated and have a professional manner. They will need to have good time management and organisational skills and be willing to learn and show an appetite to progress within the role
- The department works under a monthly plan (which may change depending on time of year) which aims to hit targets to improve the overall performance of the entire group
- The team atmosphere is intellectually challenging, demanding, friendly, non-bureaucratic and continually evolving. Although relaxed it is highly professional in nature
- Dynamic role which will evolve and change as the company grows and evolves to meet its business needs.

- 1 hour video interview with Head of Financial Reporting and Tax and a team member
- 1 hour FINAL video interview with Head of Financial Reporting and Tax and Group Finance Director
