DeepL is at an inflection point in its growth, and this is an opportunity to directly shape how the world's most accurate AI translation company turns its highest-value accounts into customers and expands them further through account-based marketing. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, based in London (hybrid / 2-days per week).

As Senior ABM Digital Marketing Manager, you will execute and optimise account-based marketing campaigns across DeepL's core paid channel mix, driving measurable account engagement and pipeline outcomes across our target accounts. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing and Campaigns.

You will sit at the intersection of Field, SDR and Marketing, turning target account lists into personalised, multi-channel paid campaigns, while also enabling regional marketers to adapt and run ABM plays that fit their own markets. You'll be equally comfortable optimising a programmatic display campaign as you are coaching a regional colleague on how to localise an account-based play for their patch.

What You'll Own

  • Campaign Execution & Optimisation: Build, launch and continuously optimise account-based campaigns across programmatic/display (including the ones managed by media partners), paid social and other relevant paid channels, ensuring creative, targeting and budget are tuned to the accounts and buying groups you're engaging. Apply an experimentation mindset across ABM channels: A/B test creative, targeting and channel mix to improve account engagement and conversion at every funnel stage. Push beyond template ad units and generic messaging, developing creative concepts and campaign formats for target accounts, and tying every creative decision back to account engagement, pipeline or revenue impact.
  • Field, SDR & Marketing Alignment: Act as one of the primary marketing points of contact for Field and SDR teams on target accounts, aligning on buying-committee personas and success metrics so that ABM is a shared motion, not a marketing-only initiative. Manage agency and media partner relationships, providing clear briefs, holding partners accountable to KPIs, and ensuring budget efficiency. Partner with Field, SDRs, Field and regional marketing teams to ensure ABM programmes are integrated, timely and grounded in a consistent narrative across all products and regions.
  • Enablement & Scalability: Build the frameworks, playbooks and channel guidance that let regional marketers tailor and execute account-based approaches for their own markets, making ABM repeatable rather than something only you can run. Lead the evaluation, selection, and onboarding of ABM technologies and platforms to build a scalable marketing technology stack. Define platform requirements, conduct vendor assessments, oversee implementation and integrations, establish best practices and governance, and drive user adoption to support personalized, account-centric marketing at scale. Partner with relevant teams to localise existing assets and commission new creative where gaps exist, ensuring every asset can be traced back to an account outcome.
  • Martech & Reporting: Act as the internal owner for ABM and their integration with CRM and marketing automation, ensuring, in collaboration with Marketing operations, clean data flow, accurate targeting lists and reliable reporting. Define and report on ABM-specific metrics, including account engagement, pipeline influenced/sourced by ABM, account penetration, deal velocity and win rates, communicating these clearly to Field and Marketing leadership.

What You'll Bring

  • 5–7+ years in B2B marketing, with hands‑on experience running and optimising account-based marketing campaigns, ideally in enterprise or B2B SaaS.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with paid/programmatic channels, including campaign setup, targeting, budget optimisation and performance reporting.
  • A track record of working closely with Field and SDR teams, with the credibility and communication skills to be seen as a true partner rather than 'marketing on the side.'
  • Experience building playbooks or frameworks that other marketers (regional or otherwise) can pick up and run with, scaling your impact through others as well as your own campaigns.
  • Comfort defining KPIs, working in CRM and reporting tools, and using data to justify creative, targeting and budget decisions at the account level.
  • Ability to push for stronger creative and campaign concepts while always tying that creativity back to account engagement, pipeline or revenue.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to run multiple concurrent account campaigns independently and prioritise effectively without heavy oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to align stakeholders across Field, Marketing, regional teams and leadership, and to represent campaign performance in reporting.
  • A builder's mindset, comfortable operating without a large team beneath you — this is a role for someone who wants to own outcomes directly, not just direct others.
