The Role

As a General Manager, you'll take full ownership of your buildings, leading teams to deliver an exceptional member experience while driving strong commercial outcomes. You'll balance day-to-day operational excellence with longer-term strategy, working closely with multiple stakeholders across the business. This is a highly visible, people-led role where you'll lead from the front, role-model Fora behaviours, and create environments where teams and members can thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams across two sites
  • Owning the end-to-end member journey and setting the standard for service and experience
  • Managing recruitment, onboarding, performance, probations, and team development
  • Driving a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth
  • Taking full responsibility for site P&Ls, budgets, and EBITDA performance
  • Working closely with Sales and Marketing to support viewings, retention, and commercial success
  • Partnering with Facilities and Health & Safety teams to ensure safe, well-maintained buildings
  • Managing complex stakeholder relationships and delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a people manager in the hospitality, retail or co-working industry
  • Demonstrated success managing people, performance, and culture across complex environments
  • Financial awareness, cost effective building management, managing budgets
  • Highly refined verbal and writing communication skills
  • Good organisation skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
  • Proactive, detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Individual with exceptional customer service skills and passionate about delivering exceptional experiences
  • Professional integrity, trustworthy
