Role Overview: This is a high-impact generalist role that supports both day-to-day People operations and strategic People initiatives. You'll work across the entire employee lifecycle - helping to hire brilliant candidates, scale culture, develop people, and reach high levels of performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Employee Experience
- Lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from employer branding, hiring, onboarding through to offboarding
- Deliver an exceptional onboarding process that sets new hires up for success
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on People-related topics
- Champion a people-first approach while balancing commercial and operational realities
- Ensure employees feel supported, connected, and valued at work
- Create and deliver recognition and celebration initiatives that reflect company values
- Join the monthly wrap up and weekly calls
- Support on offsite design and delivery
- Process & policy management
- Manage benefits (Healthcare)
Strategic People Operations
- Partner with the COO to build and continuously improve scalable People processes (e.g. performance management, career pathways, reward, recognition)
- Contribute insights and recommendations to shape policies and frameworks that align with business priorities
- Own and improve People Experience cycles (performance reviews, engagement surveys, pay reviews, recognition schemes)
- Ensure People processes are user-friendly, compliant, and enable managers to lead effectively
- Research and benchmark external best practices to keep policies and processes fresh, competitive, and effective
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience operating as a fractional people person, with exposure across the full people and talent employee cycle
- Genuine curiosity about People Operations, including onboarding, employee relations, and everything in between
- Demonstrated ability to use people insights to meaningfully improve how People teams operate and deliver impact
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with people at all levels within the business
- Proactive mindset - identifying issues early, taking ownership, and leaning into new challenges with excitement
