Who you are
- Extensive experience in Employee Relations with strong, practical application of UK employment law
- Proven ability to manage complex ER cases independently

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting large-scale change, including restructures, redundancy or TUPE activity
- Exposure to unionised or consultative environments

What the job involves
- Reporting to the Director of Employee Relations for UK & Ireland, this role is an individual contributor within the Global Employee Relations Centre of Excellence (CoE)
- You will provide expert, commercially focused advice on complex and sensitive employment matters, operating with a high degree of autonomy while working in close partnership with key stakeholders
- As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will apply deep ER expertise to deliver fair and values-led outcomes
- You will also contribute to improving ER ways of working, using data, AI and technology to strengthen insight, consistency and decision-making in line with LSEG's strategy, policies and risk appetite
- Lead complex and sensitive ER cases end-to-end, including senior-level grievances, investigations, disciplinaries, whistleblowing and contractual matters
- Provide clear, practical ER advice to People Leaders, People Partners and senior stakeholders, balancing legal considerations with commercial outcomes
- Act as an escalation point for People Shared Services and Business/Country People Partners on policy, process, legal interpretation and precedent
- Influence decision-making through concise, evidence-based advice and ER insight
- Support organisational change activity, including restructures, redundancies and consultation processes, ensuring legal compliance and best practice
- Support collective ER activity where applicable, aligned to LSEG's ER strategy and statutory obligations
- Partner closely with Legal on contentious matters, identifying emerging risks and recommending mitigations
- Contribute to case reviews to identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve ER practice
- Share knowledge, insights and learning across the Global ER CoE to drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to ER capability building through training, guidance and knowledge sharing
- Role-model professional judgement, integrity and values-led decision-making
