About the Role

We are looking for a

London-based, part-time/fractional Tech Community & Events Lead who can help Systango build meaningful relationships within London's technology ecosystem.

This is not a traditional event-management role .

  • The primary objective is to bring the right people into the room
  • senior technology and business leaders from relevant companies who can become part of Systango's growing London network.

You will plan and execute small, curated executive breakfasts, lunches, roundtables and networking events , typically with

5-10 carefully selected participants .

The initial objective is to host approximately

2 events per month , with the potential to scale to one breakfast/lunch event every alternate week based on results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong network of

London-based technology and business leaders .

  • Identify and engage relevant

CTOs, CIOs, CDOs, Heads of AI/Data, VP Engineering, Product leaders, Founders and other senior decision-makers .

  • Plan and organise curated executive breakfasts, lunches, roundtables and private networking events.
  • Develop relevant and engaging discussion themes around

AI, Gen AI, Data, Cloud, Product Engineering and Digital Transformation .

  • Curate attendee lists to ensure the right mix of seniority, industries and organisations.
  • Build relationships with relevant technology communities, industry groups, partners and ecosystem organisations .
  • Identify and coordinate speakers, moderators and discussion facilitators where required.
  • Manage event logistics including venue selection, invitations, confirmations and on-the-day coordination.
  • Drive post-event engagement and introductions in coordination with Systango's Sales and Leadership teams.
  • Maintain an organised database of relevant London technology contacts and community relationships.
  • Track event performance, attendee quality, engagement and business-development opportunities.
  • Continuously identify new formats, topics and partnership opportunities to strengthen Systango's London presence.
  • What We Are Looking For

5+ years of experience in technology events, community building, executive networking, partnerships, B2B marketing or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of the

London technology ecosystem .

  • Existing relationships/network among senior technology or business leaders in London.
  • Experience organising executive roundtables, breakfasts, lunches, private dinners, meetups or B2B technology events .
  • Background in

AI, Saa S, Technology, Fin Tech, Digital Transformation, Consulting or IT Services is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong ability to engage senior executives and build long-term relationships.
  • Highly organised and capable of independently managing multiple activities.
  • Commercial mindset with an understanding of how events and communities can contribute to business development .
  • Comfortable working independently in a part-time/fractional capacity .
  • What Would Make You Stand Out
  • You already have a strong network of

CTOs, CIOs, AI/Data leaders, Engineering leaders, Product leaders or Founders in London.

  • You currently work or have previously worked with technology/AI/Saa S communities or companies .
  • Experience with organisations such as

London Tech Leaders, CTOconnect, Fintech Fringe, RE WORK, Shall We Tech, London Tech Week or similar ecosystems.

  • Experience creating invite-only executive events rather than large-scale conferences.
  • Experience working in a freelance, consulting or fractional capacity.
  • You can demonstrate that you can independently bring

5-10 highly relevant senior people into a room around a specific technology topic.

How Success Will Be Measured

2 curated events per month during the initial phase.

  • 5-10 relevant senior attendees per event.
  • High-quality representation from Systango's target accounts and industries.
  • Growth of Systango's London technology leadership network.
  • Meaningful post-event relationships and introductions.
  • Business-development opportunities influenced or generated through the community over time.
