Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to)
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
- Build and maintain robust, production-ready native modules in Swift (i OS) and Kotlin (Android), ensuring seamless integration with cross-platform code.
- Drive full-cycle mobile development – from concept, planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and optimisation.
- Collaborate closely with our UI/UX agency to bring intuitive and engaging user experiences to life.
- Ensure application scalability, performance, and reliability across diverse devices and platforms.
- Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and backend services
- Maintain clean, efficient, and testable codebases with comprehensive documentation.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and shaping development standards across the mobile team.
- Keep abreast of emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices in mobile development and Dev Ops.
Experience / Qualifications
- 4+ years of commercial mobile development experience, ideally in a senior or lead capacity.
- Expert in Java Script/Type Script and React Native , with a strong understanding of hybrid vs native trade-offs.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain complex native modules using Swift and Kotlin.
- In-depth knowledge of Mobile architecture patterns / Platform guidelines for both i OS and Android / App lifecycle , multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning.
- Strong UI/UX awareness and experience collaborating with design partners.
- Confident integrating REST APIs and managing local data (e. g., My SQL or local storage solutions).
- Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks , version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
Desirable
- Experience deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play Store.
- Understanding of push notifications , offline-first architecture , and background services.
- Exposure to accessibility standards and mobile security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Expo, Firebase, Fastlane, or analytics platforms.
