What You Will Be Working On
- Oversees management of the programme\'s data suite to drive effective build execution and robust cost control.
- Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates project risks to protect delivery and commercial outcomes.
- Full ownership and delivery of contractual reporting requirements.
- Establishment and maintenance of programme governance structures.
- Development, mapping, and ownership of critical delivery processes.
- Enablement of network build activities to meet programme targets.
- Data management, analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making and cost control.
- Risk and issue management, including tracking, mitigation, and escalation.
- Performance monitoring through key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting.
- Continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance delivery efficiency.
- Budget oversight to ensure spend is controlled and aligned with programme forecasts.
- Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, APM, AIM, or GDPM.
- Understanding of FTTP network architecture, fibre build activities, and civils work, including knowledge of PIA standards and Openreach guidance.
- Experience working with project or contract frameworks such as NEC, with involvement in milestone tracking, invoicing (AfP), and commercial processes.
- Comfortable contributing to programme delivery through governance processes, risk and change control, reporting cycles, and ensuring audit readiness.
- Confident using Microsoft 365 tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word to manage data, share updates, and support documentation; familiarity with tools like Power BI or VBA is welcome but not essential.
- Able to interpret and share data to support decision-making, track progress, and highlight opportunities or challenges across telecoms or similar programmes.
