What does a day look like?

You'll spend your day visiting customer properties and assessing whether they're ready for a smooth fibre installation.

  • Carrying out pre-installation surveys for upcoming customer orders
  • Rodding and roping underground duct routes to ensure they're clear and usable
  • Assessing overhead routes and span lengths to confirm safe and suitable installation paths
  • Identifying the best fibre route into the property
  • Agreeing equipment locations and entry points with customers
  • Capturing photos, route details and survey notes using mobile technology
  • Highlighting any blockages, civils requirements, access issues or safety concerns
  • Working closely with our Planning, Civils and Installation teams to ensure survey outcomes are actioned correctly
  • Providing a friendly, professional experience for every customer you visit

What we’re looking for.

  • Experience of FTTP installation methods and fibre routing principles
  • Experience working with underground and overhead network infrastructure
  • Ability to rod and rope underground routes Strong understanding of installation constraints and route feasibility
  • Excellent attention to detail and record keeping
  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • A safety-first approach to everything you do
  • Full UK driving licence
  • 31 days' holiday
