Overview
Community Brand Ambassador - Part Time - East Lothian. GoFibre is looking for a Community Brand Ambassador to be the face of our rollout in rural areas, engaging directly with residents, businesses, and local groups to spark interest, build awareness, and gather Expressions of Interest (EOIs) that help shape our network deployment. This is not a sales-heavy role; it focuses on connection, education, and community presence, helping people understand the benefits of full fibre and feel excited about what’s coming.
What You Will Be Working On
- Actively engage with residents at homes, local events, and community spaces.
- Clearly communicate the benefits of full fibre broadband in a relatable, jargon-free way.
- Capture EOIs using mobile forms or tablets, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
- Build trusted relationships with local champions, councillors, business owners, and community groups.
- Distribute flyers, posters, and positive news stories to raise awareness and visibility.
- Collaborate with field sales, marketing, and build teams to share insights and community feedback.
- Support sales efforts by identifying interested residents and helping convert EOIs into customers via various channels.
- Gather a high number of EOIs generated in pre-build and early-build areas.
- Attend and represent GoFibre at village events, council meetings, and pop-up stands.
- Create positive community sentiment and increase word-of-mouth promotion.
- Share local insights with internal teams to inform rollout strategy.
- Contribute content (photos, stories, testimonials) for social media and marketing opportunities.
