At GoFibre we’re on an exciting journey to revolutionise broadband capabilities for homes and businesses in rural towns and villages across Scotland and the north of England, connecting communities and affording them digital capability equal to their city counterparts; whilst being as environmentally conscious as possible, and creating social value in the areas we serve.

Our story is only just beginning. We’re growing fast and we don’t intend to slow down anytime soon as we play our part in ensuring future-proof full fibre coverage. We have fantastic offices to allow colleagues to connect and catch up, one in central Edinburgh (with stunning 360 views of the city) and another in the coastal town of Berwick Upon Tweed; both a short walk from transport links.

The Team

As a Community Brand Ambassador, you\\\'ll be the face of our rollout in rural areas, engaging directly with residents, businesses, and local groups before the build begins. Your role is to spark interest, build awareness, and gather Expressions of Interest (EOIs) that help shape our network deployment. This is not a sales-heavy role, it\\\'s about connection, education, and community presence, helping people understand the benefits of full fibre and feel excited about what\\\'s coming.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Actively engage with residents at their homes, local events, and community spaces.
  • Clearly communicate the benefits of full fibre broadband in a relatable, jargon-free way.
  • Capture EOIs using mobile forms or tablets, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
  • Build trusted relationships with local champions, councillors, business owners, and community groups.
  • Distribute flyers, posters, and good news stories to raise awareness and visibility.
  • Collaborate closely with field sales, marketing, and build teams to share insights and community feedback.
  • Support sales efforts by identifying interested residents and helping convert EOIs into customers via various channels.
  • Gather high numbers of EOIs generated in pre-build and early-build areas.
  • Attend and represent GoFibre at village events, council meetings, and pop-up stands.
  • Create positive community sentiment and increase word-of-mouth promotion.
  • Share local insights with internal teams to inform rollout strategy.
  • Contribute content (photos, stories, testimonials) for social media and marketing opportunities.

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • You’re a natural communicator who enjoys chatting with people and making connections.
  • Confident promoting our services and sparking interest, with a positive, persuasive approach.
  • Great at building relationships in the local community and spotting new networking opportunities.
  • Comfortable representing GoFibre at events, community activities, and face-to-face outreach.
  • Organised and reliable when it comes to capturing details and following up with potential customers.
  • UK Driving License
