THE TEAM
Join GoFibre’s growing marketing team as a Community Engagement Executive, where you’ll plan and deliver vibrant community events across the north east of Scotland. You’ll be the face of GoFibre at local venues and activities, building relationships, promoting our full fibre broadband rollout, and capturing local stories that matter. By being at the heart of our local outreach efforts, from organising events and creating engaging content for social media and our website, you’ll be bringing our brand to life in the heart of the communities we serve.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
- Creating, organising and delivering a calendar of community engagement events for communities across rural Aberdeenshire.
- Supporting the delivery of our Project Gigabit commitments while aligning with our PR, public affairs and social impact strategy.
- Promoting events across multiple channels to drive attendance, awareness and positive sentiment around the GoFibre brand.
- Capturing engaging content from community activity for use across GoFibre social channels and website.
- Attending local stakeholder and networking events across the region, including evenings and weekends.
- Managing event materials, branded merchandise and collateral to ensure events run smoothly.
- Coordinating local sponsorships and partnerships, including promotional support.
- Leading the management and development of the relevant regional GoFibre Facebook page.
- Supporting PR activity and regional communications campaigns.
- Assisting with customer queries and community management across GoFibre channels.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills.
- Experience delivering events, campaigns or community engagement activity.
- Confident creating engaging content for social media and digital channels.
- Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with willingness to travel across the region.
- Valid UK driving licence.
This role requires you to meet our insurer’s criteria: hold a full UK driving licence, be at least 21 years old, and have no more than 6 penalty points.
