Goffs-Churchgate Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our thriving and supportive Maths department from December 2026. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Math lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Use prior attainment data to inform planning and teaching, ensuring all students reach their potential.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress and attainment.
  • Contribute to the development of effective teaching practices and the department’s improvement plan.
  • Plan and implement a range of extra-curricular activities, including trips and clubs, to enrich the student experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust to share resources and best practices.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour for learning within your teaching groups.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree relevant to Maths.
  • A passion for teaching Maths and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
  • Outstanding teaching skills or the potential to develop into an outstanding practitioner.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
