Permanent and part time for September 2026. The Godolphin and Latymer School is one of the country’s leading independent day schools for girls, located on a six acre site in Hammersmith, London. Responsibilities
- The appointed candidate will teach pupils, ranging from complete beginners to those of a high standard, the technique and musicianship required, offering encouragement, support and guidance as necessary.
- The role includes preparing appropriate pupils for Associated Board (or similar) music exams and preparing appropriate pupils for the practical component of GCSE and A Level examinations.
- There is also scope for accompanying our chamber choirs at evensongs at external venues: recent evensongs include St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. George’s Windsor, Hampton Court, Winchester Cathedral and Southwark Cathedral.
- Teaching allocation is between a half‑day and one full day per week.
- The department has three organs: an electric three‑manual Allen Renaissance with 62 stops; a Harrison & Harrison two‑manual pipe organ; and a brand new Viscount Ensign FV42 practice organ.
