Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly professional Personal Assistant to provide outstanding support to both the Senior Deputy Head (Academic) and Deputy Head (Pastoral and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead). The successful candidate must have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task. They must be personable, approachable, responsive and accommodating, able to work with frequent disruptions. The post-holder will need to work well as part of a team and must also be able to work autonomously. They will need to think on their feet while following strict procedures and tight timescales. Attention to detail is vital in this highly varied role.
Hours, Leave and Flexibility
This is a full-time all-year-round position. Core hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm during term time and 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday during school holidays. A degree of flexibility is required to suit the needs of the role. The role includes 28 days annual leave to be taken during school holidays, plus Bank Holidays and two weeks at Christmas when the School is closed.
Salary and Start Date
The salary will be commensurate with the post and dependent on the qualifications and experience of the appointed candidate. This is a permanent position and the start date will be confirmed on the completion of all required pre-employment checks.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions on a self-declaration form in advance of attending an interview (including those which are so-called spent unless they are 'protected' under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
