We are recruiting for a leading global professional services firm in central London offices, within their Private Clients Tax Team. This can be at Consultant, Manager or Senior Manager level and would suit a tax professional with experience in private clients tax. The team provides a full suite of tax advisory and compliance services, dealing with the domestic and international tax affairs of the business itself, owners, employees and other stakeholders. The team also works with many high net worth and high-profile individuals, advising them on their personal needs as well as their business holdings or investment structures.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the successful delivery of tax advisory projects across a range of matters.
- Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
- Role in the management of the team both in terms of strategy and operations and also through managing staff development and assignments.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Contact with Revenue & Customs and other third parties, including major financial institutions, lawyers and wealth advisory businesses.
Skills and attributes for success
- Demonstrated track record of leading the delivery of UK tax advice to clients.
- Technical and practical tax knowledge and experience in advising any of the following: corporates, individuals, families and their investment structures.
- Client focused and strategically and commercially aware.
- Strong client relationship management skills with ability to develop quality outputs to clients.
- Effective time management, ability to meet client deadlines.
- Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.
- Enthusiastic team player with ability to create, sustain and lead effective teams.
- Ensure delivery of quality work and take day to day leadership of delivery team.
- Computer literacy, with the ability to adapt to new systems.

- Strong tax technical skills.
- Initiative, professionalism and confidence.
- Experience of coaching and developing junior staff.
