We are working with a leading NI business based in Belfast that is looking for a qualified accountant to join its Treasury team as a Treasury Accountant. This role will ideally suit a Newly or Recently qualified accountant. The Treasury Accountant is responsible for overseeing daily cash management activities, bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, and supporting treasury operations. This role ensures accurate recording of treasury transactions, compliance with internal controls, and effective management of financial risks.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for all month end cut-off activities associated with the Treasury function and for ensuring that all month end journal posting and reporting is performed on a timely and accurate basis.
- Preparation of group consolidated cashflow forecasts on a monthly basis and associated liquidity analysis.
- Preparation of the monthly Group Treasury report.
- Preparation of Treasury disclosures for the group consolidated quarterly and annual accounts.
- Responsibility for the Group hedge accounting and ensure all appropriate hedge accounting documentation is in place across the Group.
- Ensure the coordination of the year end statutory audit and liaison with external auditors on all Treasury related matters.
- Compliance reporting in relation to the Group’s debt facilities.
