We are seeking a skilled and experienced *Digital Pattern Cutter* to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an opportunity to work on diverse, high-quality designs. *The Role* The role involves creating precise patterns from designer sketches, resolving construction challenges, grading patterns, and ensuring production samples meet high standards. Proficiency in Vetigraph software and Optitex software are essential, along with expertise in woven and jersey pattern cutting, garment construction, and collaboration with design teams to bring creative visions to life. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Pattern Creation:* Create first patterns from designer sketches and blocks, ensuring designs are production-ready. * *Technical Solutions:* Produce technical drawings to address finishing and construction challenges. * *Pattern Amendments:* Alter and finalize production patterns as needed, ensuring all specifications are met. * *Fit Assessments:* Attend fittings, address fit issues, and implement solutions to achieve the desired fit. * *Sample Preparation:* Grade patterns to size, prepare cut pieces for sample machinists, and ensure samples meet production standards. * *Collaboration:* Work closely with the design team to translate sketches into precise patterns. * *Production Quality:* Check production samples and ensure they adhere to design specifications. *Essential Requirements:* * Proven experience in pattern cutting, with expertise in both woven and jersey flat pattern cutting. * Strong understanding of garment construction and experience in making up garments. * Proficiency in *Optitex software* and *Vetigraph software* for digital pattern cutting and grading _*[Essential].*_ * Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and resolve construction obstacles. * Experience with industrial sewing and garment production (preferred but not essential). *Job Type: On Site, Full-time, Monday to Friday.* *Pay: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum* *Benefits:* * Performance bonuses. * Employee discounts and store discounts. * Company events and team activities. * On-site parking.
