About the Role
Welcome to West Ham! This well‑run practice in the East End of London is looking for an additional full‑time vet, to join their growing team.
Location: West Ham, London, United Kingdom
Salary: £45,000 to £61,000 FTE (inclusive of weekend rotation)
Schedule: 30‑40 hours per week, including 1:4 branch run Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation. Rota includes up to 2 bank holidays per year and last‑resort on‑call and twilight rotation for Wanstead Hospital.
Induction: Hospital induction day before first hospital shift.
Clinical Activities: Routine surgery and dental work in a busy GP environment with support from a senior vet. Opportunities to develop ECC skills on Sundays.
Support: Full‑time senior vet, senior RVN, trainee nurses, regional manager, and access to Wanstead Veterinary Hospital\’s 24‑hr facilities (CT, ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment and specialists).
