Job Description

Welcome to Hayes End! This is an ideal opportunity that will enable a vet who has the confidence to take on a client base and make it their own, while having part-time support from an established senior vet.

About your new role!

This first opinion GP position could be worked across 35-40 hours per week, inclusive of the 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday. You will be rota ‘d to 1 bank holiday per year in the Mandeville Hospital.

You would be supported by an experienced part-time senior vet who works 10am-2pm, and experienced RVN and trainee nurses. You will also have the support of our invaluable regional manager, and newly appointed regional head vet for any of those clinical queries!

As well as being equipped with everything you would expect, the practice is kitted out perfectly for a vet with a surgical bias, as our previous vet was an orthopaedic surgeon. Hayes End also has dental x-ray, perfect for those budding dentists out there!

There are no on-call requirements for this role.

Goddard Mandeville Veterinary Hospital in Northolt provides Hayes End with its OOH care and support with any complex cases you may need to refer. With state of the art diagnostic support at the hospital with a new CT scanner, a diploma holder in imaging providing our CT and ultrasound service, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, your referred patients are in safe hands!

The salary band for this 35-40 hourly week role inclusive of weekend rotation is £45,000 to £65,000 (FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role.
