Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon are recruiting for a nocturnal RVN to join their night team on a permanent basis. Here is what we offer you:
- An appealing night rotation of 3 nights on, 7 nights off; 4 nights on, 7 nights off averaging 30.33 hours per week. The nightly shift time is 7pm-8am.
- Our Night RVN salary for the above rotation is £28,813.50 to £34,121.25 (£38,000 to £45,000 FTE based on 40 hours per week) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role.
- 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata).
- CPD budget every year plus up to 2 days' paid CPD leave.
- Paid lunch breaks.

About the role:
Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital offers a well-rounded caseload of routine procedures, emergency, and critical care, as it not only has its own first opinion client base but also supports the surrounding Goddard practices for internal referral cases that require hospital expertise. The hospital also provides specialist work with an orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeon, dermatologist, and physiotherapist. Stone Lion is equipped with everything you would expect from a 24-hour hospital and are now offering laparoscopic spays. We are an RCVS Accredited Hospital and hold an ISFM Silver Award for Cat Friendly Clinics.
Our new night colleague will be an experienced RVN having ideally worked in the ECC environment before, and is confident in managing night cases and ward alongside your vet, providing exemplary care to your patients when admitted for their hospital sleepovers. You will work alongside an experienced on-site veterinary surgeon for your night shifts and will have support from the clinical management team if you needed to contact during the day for any queries.
